Nicholas Andronicos has been involved in social welfare issues for over 10 years, both as an advocate and lawyer.
Prior to joining My ADSS as a Support Coordinator, Nicholas was previously contracted to the NDIS Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) Branch where he provided legal advice to the NDIA on the merits of applications for necessary and reasonable supports.
Prior to his engagement with the NDIS, Nicholas established a law firm where he represented asylum seekers from the Middle East and Asia with their protection applications, many of whom suffered from torture and trauma.
Previously, Nicholas has worked for the Department of Home Affairs in Canberra for 3 years where he was involved with the Tribunal Review Team. He prepared ministerial and departmental briefs on merit review matters and formulated department policy.
Nicholas is proud of his Greek heritage and likes to travel to Greece for holidays. He has lived and worked in Jordan, Iran and Indonesia and can speak Bahasa Indonesian. He enjoys swimming and spending time with his family on the weekends at the beach.
