At MyADSS we specialise in providing the following services for participants:
Coordination of Support – Conductor of all support services required under participant's NDIS plan.
Plan Management – Taking responsibility for the management of the NDIS funding and ensuring payment of services is within NDIS guidelines and requirement to meet the participant's needs
Community & Social Participation - provision of a personal carer to encourage and empower participant's by gaining skills to independently engage in community and social activities such as shopping for groceries, traveling to medical appointments and other day to day activities
Group Centred Activities - bringing together participants from different backgrounds and cultures with the aim of socialising and developing life skills. Some of our group activities include; cooking fun meals, enjoying music therapy and dancing classes, movies, picnics, arts & crafts and swimming
Assistance with Personal Activities - assisting participants with daily fundamental personal care such as getting out of bed, showering and personal hygiene activities, to increase their ability to live independently at home
Therapeutic Support - organising therapeutic support services such as occupational therapy (OT) physiotherapy, podiatry, behavioural and psycological therapies
Assistance with Daily Life – Assisting with and supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable participants to live as independently as possible
Life Stage Transitioning – mentoring and support to embrace and learn new life skills required for transitioning and adjusting to participants home and community
Developmental Life Skills - support provided to develop and train participants in individual life skills for community, social and recreational participation
Community Nursing Care - providing nursing care to respond to the disability-related health needs of a participant, where the care is not usually the responsibility of government health system
Assistance with Household Tasks - this support involves undertaking essential household tasks required to maintain the participants home environment, which the participant is unable to undertake independently
Tenancy & Accomodation - providing guidance or undertaking activities to ensure the participant obtains and maintains appropriate accommodation, including assisting to apply for rental tenancy or to undertake tenancy obligations in accordance with participant's tenancy agreement
Home Modification & Transport - assisting participants with home modifications including design, construction, installation and changes to equipment or non-structural components and installation of fixtures and fittings, to enable participants live as independently and safely as possible in their home
